Hi, I'm Alice!
I live in the stunning town of Taupō, New Zealand. I’m 26 years old and have worked in the tourism industry my whole life. My journey began at the age of 13, and since then, I’ve taken on a variety of roles - from navigating the waters of the Waikato River as a jet boat driver to promoting the Taupō region with Destination Great Lake Taupō, our local Regional Tourism Organisation. I now work in my family business, Escape Aviation, as the Sales and Marketing Manager, combining my love for adventure with my passion for sharing the beauty of our region.
You might be wondering how I found myself on the path to becoming a celebrant. Well, years of working in tourism sharpened my ability to connect with people and tell stories that resonate. It all came together when my brother and now-wife’s original celebrant plans fell through. They asked me to step in and officiate their wedding in February 2024 - saying "yes" was a no-brainer. Little did I know, it would become one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.
Standing before them, witnessing their love, and guiding them through their special day was a moment of pure magic - one I’d gladly relive again. That day lit a spark, and I realised I wanted to help create more moments like it.
So here I am, ready to embark on this incredible journey as a celebrant. I’m passionate about officiating meaningful, unique ceremonies that reflect the love and personality of each couple I have the privilege of working with.

My Services
My personalised wedding package includes:
A face-to-face meeting to discuss every aspect of your ceremony.
Crafting your personalised wedding script.
Handling the small details, like printing your vows and preparing your marriage documents, so you can relax on your big day.
Wedding rehearsal, allowing us to go over everything to ensure everyone feels comfortable.
On the wedding day, I'll arrive 30 minutes early to set up and coordinate with the venue or coordinator, officiate your ceremony, handle paperwork, and depart around 30 minutes after the ceremony.
Travel around the Taupo Region is provided in my fee.
Rest assured, I will craft a bespoke ceremony that truly reflects your unique love story. Whether your vision is something short and sweet, deeply emotional, or wonderfully romantic, I'm here to bring your vision to life and take care of all the legal requirements to make your marriage official.

Certainly, I am open to traveling outside of the Taupo Region to officiate weddings. However, this would be contingent upon availability and would incur an additional cost.
